Windows on the World: Inside Looking Out / Outside Looking In
Be one of the artists in Velorose’s second Mail Art project, ‘Windows on the World’, initially a virtual group art exhibition for LFA Digital 2020. For centuries, windows have represented power in its many guises, from rose windows in churches and the opulence of Venetian glass, to the window-walls of Hardwick Hall or Modernism, and the net-curtained windows associated with working class homes

We are inviting everyone across the globe to share a window to their own world, by creating a postcard-sized artwork that captures your individual take on the outside looking in, or the inside looking out. It can be figurative, or abstract, and in any medium that will be accepted, and survive its journey, by post

Entries are welcome until the end of LFA Digital 2020 (30 June 2020), with postcard artworks received before June being showcased when the exhibition opens on 4 June. All entries will also be exhibited in the gallery itself, curated by themes (as these emerge) for viewing through the gallery windows, and the show will be updated online daily, throughout June (LFA Digital 2020)
